Devaux® OROK

The passion and friendship between 2 fishermen. The Devaux® OROK reel is designed and manufactured 100% in France.

It comes from an incredible combination of experiences, between fishermen, an engineer and the BELIN high school in VESOUL. This project also involved more than ten French subcontractors.
The innovation is to have created a high-tech anti-reverse geared reel with a closed and enveloping cage.
Ideal for technology and efficiency enthusiasts. It is fast with a very progressive and powerful brake. The axis for the silk exit has been offset in order to avoid friction as much as possible and to increase the velocity. The dimensions of the spool have been studied to have perfect windings of the silk, in order to avoid wigs.

Two fine grooves were made on each side of the frame to position the leader.
This system allows the silk to be released much more quickly.
