The Gold Max is the most powerful line in the RIO Gold family, the Max is a line specifically designed to cast comfortably with fast rods and large, heavy streamer flies.
The relatively short 11m head carries more weight to the rear so anglers can easily cast heavier streamers more efficiently, while the shorter front taper combined with the tapered body allows for finesse casting of large dry flies. The short rear taper combined with a rear-loaded body allows for incredible rolling casts on heavier rigs while making it easier to cast the line at long distances.
