The exceptional clarity and abrasion resistance of fluorocarbon make this leader virtually invisible to wary fish and ensure superior performance during fights, where sand and rocks would eventually wear down a standard nylon leader. Each leader is 9 feet (2.70 m) long and is available in test bands from 12 lb (0.28 mm) to 20 lb (0.38 mm).
