The Gold Max is the most powerful line in the RIO Gold range, the Max is a line specifically designed to comfortably cast with fast rods and large and heavy streamer flies.
The relatively short 11m head carries more weight to the rear so anglers can easily cast heavier streamers more effectively, while the shorter front taper combined with the tapered body allows for larger dries to be cast with finesse. The short rear taper combined with a rear loaded body allows for incredible rolling casts on heavier rigs while facilitating long distance casting.
