The choice of a medium-fast action was a natural one: forgiving enough to reassure and guide beginners, yet responsive enough to offer experienced anglers precise and dynamic feel. This true versatility is designed so that everyone can quickly discover the pleasure of a natural and controlled casting motion. Each blank is crafted from carefully selected carbon, combining lightness, responsiveness, and strength.
The launch of the HOH 101 series also marks an ambitious collaboration with Jean-Marc Chignard, an undisputed authority in fly fishing. Together, HOH and DEVAUX combine technical excellence and efficiency to create a rod that embodies pleasure, performance, and reliability.
Thanks to their 6-piece design, they are very easy to transport without compromising on action. Their "Deep Blue" blanks are equipped with hard chrome tip guides and single-foot guides, followed by two SiC Stripper Guides. The anodized aluminum reel seats are reversed for perfect rod balance. An ergonomically shaped cork handle provides enhanced grip. Their lightweight, triangular travel tubes improve protection and facilitate transport.
